The Toyota Landcruiser 79 Series (8/2012 on) X-Bar has a towing capacity of 3500kg with a ball weight of 350kg. The X-Bar comes with a rated 8 tonne centre recovery point and two rated 4 tonne side recovery points. Whenever you are recovering a vehicle that's stuck always make sure you use a rated recovery point as using other methods may cause damage or injury. The X-Bar also has a number of features benefitial to offroad travelling including quick release cover protecting plug points, designed to suit your vehicle, Twin protected trailer socket mount points, SmartPin™ hitch pin, premium eCoat & powder-coat finish and rated D-shackles.

The X-Bar is designed to maximise towing ability and allow you to safely recover your or a mates vehicle. The 03237RW X-Bar Recovery Towbar includes increased thickness sidearm and custom forged 700-grade steel recovery points and towball mount. The X-Bar has been designed using advanced FEA (Finite Element Analysis) technology and tested to Australian Standards AS/4177 and ADR 62/02 in a dedicated NATA accredited Laboratory at Hayman Reese's Melbourne Production Facility for both towing strength and recovery ability.
