NTK MAP SENSORS

The manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor determines the intake manifold pressure or vacuum. These sensors are a major contributor to fuel injector pulse width and ignition and valve timing, reporting engine load to the engine's computer.

The manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor determines the intake manifold pressure or vacuum. Sends voltage signal to the ECM which changes with the varying pressure/vacuum within the intake manifold. ECM uses signal to determine engine load and ensure proper air/fuel ratio.
