Description
All fuel injected vehicles utilise some form of exhaust based sensor to gauge the air/fuel mixture. In older fuel injected cars this is performed by a relatively unsophisticated 'narrow band' sensor which provides the ECU with a relatively rudimentary reference of the state of combustion. Later model vehicles utilise a more advanced 'wide band' O2 sensor capable of actively reporting the state of combustion in realtime and across the entire rev range. A failed narrow band sensor in older vehicles might lead to poor fuel economy and poor performance in cold conditions whereas a failed wide band sensor in a later model vehicle might cause the vehicle to go into limb mode, causing the check engine light to come on and require immediate replacement.
Premiere Auto Trade offer a wide range of O2 sensors to suit most every fuel injected vehicle in the Australian fleet. Simply enter your vehicle registration via the 'Add your Vehicle' tab located at the top of this page, or alternatively it's make, model and series, in order to narrow your search and find the right O2 sensor to suit your unique vehicle.
