PRO 5 5W-30 is a premium grade, full synthetic SAE 5W-30 engine oil developed for use in modern petrol & diesel engines exclusively in professional workshops and vehicle service centres. It uses a combination of advanced additive technology and a low shear rate viscosity modifier, to ensure additional protection against wear, corrosion, oil oxidation, piston deposits and sludge under tough conditions.

PRO 5 is licensed by the API (American Petroleum Institute) to meet SN specifications ensuring quality and satisfaction. It also meets ACEA C3 and C2 specifications for use in petrol and light duty diesel engines including those fitted with DPF’s (Diesel Particulate Filters).

Application

PRO 5 5W-30 is designed for use in modern 4, 6 & 8+ cylinder multi-cam, multi-valve (including VVT), naturally aspirated, supercharged & turbocharged engines.

PRO 5 5W-30 is suitable for use where SAE 5W-20, SAE 5W-30 or SAE 7.5W-30 viscosity engine oils are recommended by the manufacturer. It may be used where API SN or earlier API specifications SM (2004-2010),  SL (2001-2004)  or SJ (1996-2001) were recommended and where ILSAC GF-5 or earlier ILSAC GF-4 or ILSAC GF-3 specifications were required. It can be used in modern petrol and light duty diesel engines where ACEA C3 and where ACEA C2 is required and is suitable for vehicles fitted with an after treatment emission system such as a Petrol or Diesel Catalyst or a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). It may also be used where ACEA A3/B4 was required in vehicles made before model year 2010.

Vehicle & Fuel Types

PRO 5 5W-30 can be used in passenger cars, 4WD’s & light duty commercial vehicles and is compatible with Petrol, LPG (Dual Fuel & LPi Liquid Phase Injection), E10, diesel (With or Without DPF), biodiesel and most other conventional fuels. If used with E85, Penrite recommend more frequent oil changes. It is not recommended for use in four stroke motorcycles with wet clutches.

NOTE: when changing oil, Penrite recommend using Penrite Engine Flush, a fast acting, solvent free, engine cleaning formulation that removes engine deposits, sludge and contaminants with the oil service drain. It contains added zinc for engine wear protection and its fast acting formulation works in 10 minutes.
