The APP8KE5 is designed to be used in conjunction with an Aerpro Vehicle Specific Harness, available separately, to provide quick and simple installation for most late model Kenwood audio visual headunits. This secondary harness converts your Kenwood headunit to the double ISO standard, so that the primary harness, the Aerpro Vehicle Specific Harness, can then interface with the main entertainment system connector on your vehicle.

It can also be used in conjunction with a steering wheel control adapter or infodapter and SWC patch lead, both sold separately, in order to provide plug and play installation of a kenwood headunit into your vehicle.

Notes:

Due to the wide variations in factory wiring harnesses it may still be necessary to do some amount of conventional hard wiring in order to complete installation.
