Going beyond a simple service item, the Bendix Ultimate 4WD Brake Hose kits bring improved braking performance, pedal feel, and long-term reliability in a convenient, ready made package. OEM rubber hoses provide great pedal feel and robust operation, but are susceptible to the effects of aging, poor service, and misuse, leading to compromised brake feeling or outright dangerous fluid leaks. The Bendix Ultimate 4WD Hoses take the main strength of rubber hoses - flexibility - and improve the formula with a multi-layer construction designed to realise the ultimate in braking performance.

Featuring a PTFE inner layer, the brake hoses are able to stand up against degradation from age or contamination, and resist the bulging characteristic of an older rubber hose. Protected by a stainless steel braid, the hose is protected from road debris, off-road obstacles and even accident damage. The braid is also guarded against abrasion by a blue protective layer, which also gives a distinct Bendix touch. Not stopping with only a fancy hose, the chromed steel ends are covered with a rubber moulding that secures the hose, providing strain-relief and protecting against fatiguing the crimped connection.
