Burst panels are designed to help save your intake manifold in the event of an engine backfire. A backfire can cause serious damage to your intake manifold either with material fatigue or in some cases completely destroying it. The burst panel is specifically designed to release this excess pressure that would be trapped inside the intake manifold with nowhere to go. The burst panel will blow a hole for the pressure to escape in the event of a backfire.

The bust panel itself is measures at 108mm x 60mm. The weld on flange dimension is 120mm long, 75mm wide and 12mm thick with 18 x M5 x 0.8mm (12mm UHL) stainless steel socket cap allen key screws.
