The APP8PIO8 converts your Pioneer headunit to the double ISO standard and is designed to be used in conjunction with an Aerpro Vehicle Specific Harness, available separately, to provide quick and simple installation for most late model Pioneer audio visual headunits. When paired with an Aerpro Vehicle Specific Harness, you can then interface your Pioneer headunit with the main entertainment system connector of your vehicle. Once combined with an Aerpro Vehicle Specific Harness and, if required, a Steering Wheel Control patch lead and Steering Wheel Control Interface or Infodaptor, you can take most, if not all, of the hard work out of installing your Pioneer headunit into your vehicle.

Note:

If your aftermarket headunit is an AVH series headunit, or later audiovisual headunit that is capable of interfacing with the factory steering wheel controls of your vehicle, then the APP9PIO8 is a better option for you than the APP8PIO8, as it incorporates the necessary Steering Wheel Control patch lead. The Steering Wheel Control patch lead must then be paired with an appropriate Aerpro Steering Wheel Control Interface or Infodapter, also available separately, in order to utilise the factory steering wheel controls with your aftermarket headunit.

The factory main entertainment connector varies from vehicle to vehicle, so be sure you select the right primary harness to suit your unique vehicle.

Due to the wide variations in factory wiring harnesses it may still be necessary to do some amount of conventional hard wiring in order to complete installation.
