The APP9SP4 is designed to be used in conjunction with an Aerpro Vehicle Specific Harness to provide quick and simple installation for most Sony audio visual headunits made from 2013 onwards. It incorporates the AAP8SP5 patch lead to convert your Sony headunit to the double ISO standard and an APSONYPL patch lead to adapt your steering wheel controls to function with the Sony headunit when paired with an Aerpro Steering Wheel Control Interface or Infodapter.

Note:

This secondary harness is designed to be used in conjunction with an Aerpro Vehicle Specific Harness, available separately, in order to interface with your vehicles main entertainment system connector. The factory harness varies from vehicle to vehicle, so please ensure you select the right primary harness to suit your unique vehicle.

Please ensure the aftermarket headunit you intend to install has the functionality to support being interfaced with factory steering wheel controls, and that you have selected the correct Aerpro Steering Wheel Control Interface or Infodapter, available separately, if you wish to use the factory steering wheel controls with your aftermarket headunit.

Due to the wide variations in factory wiring harnesses it may still be necessary to do some amount of conventional hard wiring in order to complete installation.
