The CAN-Connect CANHBVW1 High Beam Interface is a versatile CAN-Bus interface with multiple outputs that can supply power to external components when used in conjunction with a vehicle's lighting system. Designed specifically to suit Volkswagen Golf MK8 (2019-on) vehicles, it includes a vehicle specific plug and play harness for simple installation. The interface can be used to add additional lighting or control any other accessory using the vehicle's high beam controls by decoding data from the vehicle's CAN-Bus in order to activate the connected accessory. It offers three output options: a constant power option that operates when the factory high beams are active, an optional light source that doesn't require the vehicle lights to be on and a follow-me-home mode that can be activated by a series of high beam flashes, providing a timed light source for up to 5 minutes.
