This Alcius thermostatic expansion valve is a direct fit replacement designed for Hyundai i30 models from 2007 onwards and Elantra HD models from 2006 onwards. It regulates refrigerant flow into the evaporator to maintain optimal cabin cooling performance and prevents compressor damage by responding to temperature and pressure changes. Constructed from corrosion resistant materials and precision machined components, the valve restores factory style operation for air conditioning systems using R134a refrigerant and integrates with OEM hoses and fittings for straightforward installation.

Reliable operation ensures consistent evaporator superheat, faster cabin cool down and improved system efficiency compared with a failing valve. The unit is supplied tested and ready to install; it is compatible with standard AC system service procedures and requires basic refrigerant handling tools for replacement. Ideal for workshops and DIY enthusiasts wanting a quality aftermarket part that meets OE form fit and function criteria. Suitable for professional fitment and home servicing when used with correct refrigerant recovery and charging equipment.
