While in most circumstances the wireless connectivity of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto operates without complication, it is subject to interruptions. Head Units Featuring Android Auto Compatibility

Due to broad variation between Android device manufacturers and Android operating systems, it's not possible to guarantee the function of Android Auto across all Android devices. However, if your Android device is loaded with Android version 11 and it is a Google or Samsung branded device, or it is a S8, Galaxy S8+, Note 8 or newer Samsung device, chances are Android Auto should work. With that said, it is always best to physically check the functionality with your device where possible, or to seek advice on your specific device from the headunit manufacturer, prior to making your purchase.
