HPR 5 is Penrite’s top shelf full synthetic SAE 5W-40 engine oil. This advanced formulation incorporates two complementary types of wear minimisation technology. Penrite’s Full Zinc technology provides a sacrificial layer that is highly effective at protecting your piston rings, valve stems, tappets and cams, while Penrite's advanced Extra Ten technology delivers added protection for your engine’s friction surfaces at higher temperatures than other oils with the same viscosity rating. These features are combined with the latest advanced additive technology to deliver unparalleled protection against oxidation, corrosion and unnecessary wear.

Advanced Oil for Advanced Engine Technology

Is HPR 5 is ideal for use in all modern petrol vehicles, with particularly suitability to today’s more advanced multi-cam, multi-valve and forced induction engines and recommended for use where SAE 5W-30 or SAE 10W-30 or SAE 5W-40 engine oils are specified by the manufacturer. It is also the oil of touch for vehicles where ACEA A3/B4 is specified as well as API SN and older SM, SL , SJ standards.

HPR 5 is also suitable for use in LPG and Light Duty Diesel engines designed for used with service classifications including API CF, ACEA A3/B3 and A3/B4 standards as well as ILSAC GF-3, GF-4 and GF-5 grade oils and ACEA A1/B1 and A5/B5. Please note that HPR 5 is not suitable for use in diesel engine vehicles fitted with a Diesel Particulate Filter that require an ACEA “C” grade Low-SAPS engine oil.

HPR 5 is OEM approved for several premium European luxury vehicles that require Mercedes Benz’s MB-Approval 229.5, BMW LongLife-01 and Porsche A40 for warranty compliance and is also suitable for a range of other applications where a full synthetic, petrol and light duty diesel engine oil is required.
