How to use

1. Thoroughly clean surfaces with mineral turpentine and dry.
2. For 75g tube - pierce blind seal in tube and fit nozzle. For Cartridge - cut nipple tip off and screw on nozzle. Cut nozzle to required size. Extrude with steady pressure, ensuring sealant is pushed onto the surface or into the joint. If used as an adhesive or gasket, apply sealant to one surface only and bring together within 3 minutes.
3. Tool to a smooth finish, with a spatula dipped in detergent water.
4. Clean up before sealant cures with mineral turpentine. Cured sealant can only be removed by scraping or cutting.
5. After use, remove nozzle and replace cap on tube. Allow sealant to cure in nozzle and remove before next use.

Limitations:

• #Not suitable for polycarbonate, polyethylene or polypropylene plastics.
• Sealant cannot be painted over.
• Not suitable for below water-line seals unless used as a gasket which is held mechanically in compression.
• Not recommended for trafficable joints, such as open joints between deck planks.
• *Will not adhere to copper, brass or zinc containing metals.
• Not suitable for contact with petrol or distillate.

Handy Tips

• Avoid smearing of excess sealant on surfaces as this can cause problems with painting.
• Use masking tape for a neat appearance or where clean up is difficult.
• Resistant to -60ºC and 180ºC continuously, or to 240ºC intermittently.
• Sealant cures in 24 hours in normal applications. If used as a gasket or adhesive up to 7 days may be required for full curing. If used to replace compression gaskets in port-hole closures, leave to cure a few days before fully tightening bolts/screws on the compression ring.
• During application a harmless vinegar odour is generated, but disappears as sealant cures.

Clean up

• Uncured product may be removed with mineral turps.
• Cured product can be sanded and scraped.
