Lamborghini Jarama
The Lamborghini Jarama is one of the marque’s most intriguing grand tourers, built from 1970 to 1976 and named, in true Lamborghini tradition, after a Spanish bullfighting region rather than the racetrack many assume. Designed by Marcello Gandini at Bertone, the Jarama paired sharp wedge-era styling with a front-mounted 3.9 litre V12, delivering the drama of a Miura-era engine in a more usable 2+2 format. Early Jarama 400 GT models produced around 350 horsepower, while the later Jarama S added extra refinement, improved ventilation, power steering on some examples, revised trim and a modest performance lift. With its low bonnet, wide stance, pop-up headlights and muscular haunches, it remains a distinctive alternative to better-known classic Lamborghinis.
Only around 328 Jaramas were produced, making it rarer than many of the brand’s headline supercars, and Ferruccio Lamborghini himself reportedly regarded it as one of his favourite cars thanks to its blend of speed, comfort and understated usability. Today, the Jarama appeals to enthusiasts who value mechanical character over poster-car fame, but ownership demands careful attention to maintenance, cooling, ignition, braking and suspension components. At Automotive Superstore, we understand that classic performance cars need quality oils, filters, batteries, tools, detailing products and workshop essentials to help preserve their originality and road presence. Whether you are maintaining a collectible Lamborghini or upgrading your weekend classic, the right parts and accessories help keep the passion alive.
