Using a multi-layer construction, Weathermate car covers provide a comprehensive protection package and ensures longer lasting paint, longer cleaning intervals, or even a veil of privacy.
Easy to Use
The Weathermate Storm Cover features four integral ventilation flaps, serving multiple purposes. The flaps allow regulation of temperature and humidity by allowing air currents to circulate and prevent a build up of temperature inside the cover. The flaps make setting up easier as the cover won't 'inflate', and provides less resistance to being pulled over your car. The ventilation flaps also prevent the cover from lifting off during inclement weather, as winds can pass through the cover with minimal disruption.
The cover is secured with two oversized buckles, themselves mounted to 25mm wide straps with reinforced attachment points. The cover also comes with a bespoke zip-up storage bag, making safekeeping the car cover a breeze.
UV Resistant
With one of the harshest UV climates, the idyllic Australian locale is known to quickly degrade and destroy the materials we build from, including plastics, leathers and paints that adorn our cars. The efficient design of the Weathermate Storm Cover provides a effective defense against the harsh UVA and UVB radiation that cars are bombarded with daily.
The combination of synthetic EVA polymer sheeting provides a waterproof, mildrew reisstant yet flexible barrier, and lined with a proprietary blend of cotton-synthetic fabric containing a lignin polymer framework, well known for effectively absorbing damaging UV energy.
Efficient & Effective Materials Selection
Polyethylene vinyl acetate, commonly known as EVA, is a natural choice for protective covers, being a flexible and lightweight material with a dependable, uniform polymer structure, meaning that the material consistency is higher than other materials preventing 'dead spots' that may compromise the protective design. EVA is also easier to recycle than traditional compounds such as PVC, meaning a lessened impact on the environment.
Scratch-free Surface Protection
The Achilles heel of cheaper covers, which aim to protect against rain or foreign objects, is the presence of dirt or dust on the car's body. Any movement due to wind or persons brushing against the cover invariably leads to fresh swirls and scratches on your pride and joy. One does not always have the luxury of having the time required to fully clean and dry the car before setting up the car cover.
The Weathermate Storm Cover features a grey felt cotton/synthetic blend lining on the entire underside, providing a scratch-free surface to add an extra layer of safety.

The Weathermate Storm Cover acts as an insulating layer, using a combination of clever design and the innate properties of the polyvinyl acetate material, keeping temperatures inside cooler and your interior surfaces intact for longer.
Long Lasting & Durable
The Weathermate Storm Cover is made to last - an objective realised through the choice of materials and design of its construction. The cross-linked EVA polymer has fantastic innate durability and malleability, with it's resistance to tearing enhanced when bonded with a composite material. The inner felt lining matches the flexibility of the EVA layers, allowing the cover to conform to shapes without tearing or compromising function. The double stitched hems provide a mechanical support to maintain the integrity of the structure, and are heat sealed to ensure longevity. The easy-to-use securing straps are box stitched to allow the cover to be securely attached time and time again.
