The high strength and super lightweight Ti 6Al-4V grade (Grade 5) studs are the perfect replacement for turbo manifolds, exhaust headers or intakes. The use of factory OEM bolts and studs they can result in stripped or broken bolts and inadequate clamping force, resulting in leaks. Aeroflow Performance titanium stud and locking nut combo incorporates a hex key tip that allows them to be easily installed using an Allen wrench. Titanium 12-point locking nuts and washers are included. These all-metal locking nuts have no plastic inserts of any kind. They're effective under even the harshest conditions, extreme temperatures and works well under a high level of vibration. Note: Locking nuts will wind on freely until theyhit the metal inserts at the top of the nut, then a tool isrequired to tighten nut all the way down.
