The Power T400X4ad 400 Watt 4-channel ultra-compact, amplifier is built on Rockford Fosgate's proprietary Class-AD technology, featuring Constant Power to produce the same output at both 4-Ohm and 2-Ohm impedances. Flexible vehicle integration enabled through low-level and high-level inputs with auto turn-on. Top mounted controls allow easy access to built-in crossover and C.L.E.A.N. input/output clip detection circuits. The 3-stage thermal lock extrusion with dual fan forced induction keeps everything cool while real-time thermal/protection schemes safeguard the amplifier.

CTA-2006 Compliant

Power ratings on Rockford Fosgate amplifiers conform to CTA-2006 industry standards. These guidelines mean your amplifier's output power ratings are REAL POWER numbers, not inflated marketing ratings.

CE Compliant

It proves to the authorities, but also to the buyer -or user- that this product fulfills all essential safety and environmental requirements as they are defined in the so-called European Directives.

The ce marking directive (93/68/EEC) was adopted on 07-22-1993 and updated as 768/2008 EC on 13-8-2008.

The directive gives a detailed description of the initials CE and any other marks specific to a particular directive and the many ways conformity may be acquired.

In return for fulfilling the CE marking requirements, the manufacturer or its agent gets the permission to cover the entire European market using only one approval procedure for the topics covered in the applicable directives.

No member state of the European Community can refuse trade of any (electronic or electrical) product that has been CE marked (unless fraud suspected). For some products however, national regulations exist, as long as the requirements covered in these national regulations are not covered by a pan-European Directive.

C.L.E.A.N. (Calibrated Level Eliminates Audible Noise) is a patented circuit with in/out clip LEDs to help match a source to amp and optimize output.

3-Stage Airflow

Compact Rockford Fosgate Power BR and AD amplifiers generate a lot of wattage in a compact chassis.  A natural by-product of generating this power is heat. To get rid of this heat, Rockford Fosgate engineers developed an efficient method to keep the amplifier running cool.

DSM

DSM utilize 1% tight-tolerances improving efficiency of the circuit, decreases cross-talk from other discrete components and lowers operating temperature.
