Factory fitted rubber bump stops, designed to soften the blow resulting in suspension reaching the end of its available movement, may well be great at providing you with a relatively soft landing, however they can fail in short order if given a hard life. In the same way strut boots, fitted to protect the exposed rod from ingress of dust and debris, can quickly deteriorate if given a hard time.

SuperPro offer a range of bump stops and strut boots to help you solve this problem. These bump stops and strut boots are made of high-quality polyurethane elastomer bushes, which offer several advantages over standard rubber alternatives.

While conventional rubber bushes do offer exceptional noise and vibration isolation properties and are cheap to mass produce, the rubber is so soft it can be compressed in on itself. This compression creates micro tears that propagate over time and causes the rubber to deteriorate. Polyurethane elastomer, on the other hand, acts like an incompressible liquid, and are far more resilient to heavy repeated abuse.
